In 2019, Melbourne’s top chefs will again be battling it out to win the GOLDEN EMPANADA trophy. There are two categories: the Professionals, as voted by a team of Melbourne’s food critics, and the People’s Choice, as voted by you. Last year’s trophies were taken out by Little Latin Lucy and Lechona Bros. Who will be victorious this year?

Pastel de Choclo – Corn and a eggplant terrine, humita sauce, provolone cheese, chickpea shoots $6 

Lechona Bros

Empanada de Salmón – Fresh Salmon, cream cheese, capers and dill with squid ink pastry
